First: recognize that you are reading this because of a "divine appointment"-God Almighty has directed you here.

Second: Can I really find God with only a half-page of instructions?  'Yes!", God wanted to make finding Him so easy that everyone can know him.

Here's how to find eternal life:

Acknowledge that your own nature and unwholesome desires controls your life.  God's word tells us, "All have sinned" and that "there is none righteous-no, not one."  All of us are born with a sinning nature which separates us from God.  He, alone, can change that nature by the power of His Spirit.

Acknowledge that all your attempts to change yourself have failed.  New year's resolutions, self-help books, seminars and all your other efforts have failed to change the 'command-center' of your life.

Acknowledge that you need a "Savior."  You need someone who has power to change you at your 'center.'  That person is Jesus Christ, God's only Son.  God's word tells us, "For of all the names in the world given to men, this [Jesus Christ] is the only one by which we can be saved."

Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God's Son, and that He took all your sin upon Himself when He died upon the cross. God's word tells us, "For [Jesus] Christ Himself died for you; once and for all He died for [all] sins, a good man for bad men, in order to lead you to God."

Ask God to forgive all your sins for Jesus' sake. God's word tells us; "If we freely admit that we have sinned, we find Him [Jesus] reliable and just-He forgives our sins and makes us thoroughly clean from all that is evil."

Confess that Jesus is now 'Lord' of your life.  God's word tells us; "...if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are put right with God, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Now, just talk to God conversationally, just like you talk to a friend, and go through the list above saying to God something like; "I acknowledge that I live under the control of my own sinful nature, and all my attempts to change have failed.  I need Jesus to change my heart, [my command center].  I know that He took all my sin upon Himself and died for me.  I ask you, Lord, to forgive all my sin and come into my heart and make me a new person inside.  I accept You now, as my Lord and my Savior."

When you do these things with a sincere heart, the barrier which separated you and God is removed, and you enter into eternal "Life."  You now become a new person.  God's word tells us; "When someone becomes a new Christian he becomes a brand new person inside.  He is not the same any more.  A new life has begun!"

It is now absolutely essential to your new "life" that you read the Bible every day, that you pray every day, (talk to God like you just talked to Him about saving you), and you must find a good church where you can learn how to live the Christian life and grow in your new-found faith in Christ.

This is the first day of your eternal "life"-I will look forward to seeing you in heaven, if not before!

God's best to you,
