Howdy! My name is Nick Hester, and I was born in Houston but have called Lubbock home for the past decade. I’ve been happily married to my wife, Paige, for almost 13 years. We’re blessed with five amazing kids, ranging in age from 2 to 10. In public, people often comment, “Wow, you’ve got your hands full!” and we love to respond with, “And full hearts!” God has truly blessed us! Paige and I have always worked together in college ministry with Chi Alpha campus ministries. I began college as an atheist but graduated as a missionary with the organization. It’s a long story for another time :) Ten years ago, we were entrusted with the mission of re-planting a Chi Alpha ministry at Texas Tech University, and that’s where our journey has led us ever since. We’re passionate about co-laboring with God to see people grow in their relationship with Him or meet Him for the first time. We’re excited for this new venture here at First Assembly!
